Why am I so anxious? Why do I carry so much guilt and shame? Why do I believe in my head that Jesus loves and accepts me, but it doesn’t change the way I feel? How do we close the gap between what we know to be true in the gospel and our actual experience of the gospel?
These are questions every Christian faces. But most of us rarely slow down long enough to address what’s really going on in our hearts. The Enneagram is a personality tool that helps us go beneath the surface and apply the gospel to the deep places in our hearts. More specifically, the Enneagram describes the particular gifts and weaknesses of your personality and how those are impacting your relationships with God, others and yourself. The goal of the Enneagram is to help you put off the old self and put on the new self, to live out of your true identity as one who is perfectly by God in Christ.
