Hey parents!
I’m SO excited to tell you about something new we’re adding to our student ministry just for our 6th and 7th graders! Beginning the Sunday after Easter, April 11, we will start theLIFT A.M! Right after worship in the sanctuary, our 6th and 7th graders will be dismissed from the 11:00 service to head up to the youth room for a service of their own!
Moving up into student ministry can be a tough transition for many kids- and some of our newbies just aren’t quite ready for Wednesday nights. That’s perfectly okay! No worries whatsoever if your child can’t hang midweek! Totally normal. We’re looking forward to this being a bridge from kids’ ministry to youth group. And when you feel your child is ready, send ‘em on over on Wednesday nights!
On Sundays, once dismissed, we’ll head upstairs using the west staircase (opposite the children’s wing). I’ll bring everyone back down using that same west staircase to avoid congestion in kids’ hall. You can meet your child in the coffee area. No need to register your child, but we will have a sign-in and temp check at the door before entry. Masks are required.
*Again, theLIFTam will only take place during second service starting April 11!
Finally... theLIFT returns Wednesday night, March 24!! Doors open at 6:30pm (sign-in and temp check). Please pick up your child at 8pm! We will not be going to eat out after service at this time. Masks required for all. 😷
*theLIFT (6th-12th grade)
Wednesdays- 6:30-8:00pm in sanctuary
*theLIFTam (6th and 7th grade)
Sundays- second service (after worship of 11am service) in youth room upstairs
*MASKS REQUIRED FOR ALL YOUTH SERVICES // Parents dropping off: please remain on campus until temp check is complete.
Lastly, we ask that you answer a few questions before your child attends any youth event:
• Has your child or anyone in your family experienced a fever or cough in the last 48 hours?
• Have you, or has anyone in your family been in contact with a Covid positive person in the last 14 days?
• Are you or is anyone in your family awaiting a Covid test result?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, please refrain from sending your child to a LIFT service. Thank you!!
